It’s the final stepping‑stone before players progress into club‑based senior baseball\, making the 2026 Senior League WA State Championship one of the most anticipated events on the junior baseball calendar. \nThe NSR Hire ballpark\, the premier baseball venue in WA\, provides a professional‑grade environment for the state’s top Senior League athletes. With quality lighting\, seating\, and facilities\, it creates the perfect stage for high‑intensity tournament play. \nAt this level\, pitching depth\, defensive strength\, and game management become central to success. Many athletes competing here also represent their clubs at higher age levels\, making the standard of play strong and often comparable to early senior‑grade baseball. \nThe April event will serve as a major highlight of WA’s junior baseball season\, giving Senior League players a final chance to compete for state honours—and the opportunity to continue their journey toward national and international competition. \nThe 2026 WA State Championship determines which Western Australian teams (the winner and runner-up) will advance to the Senior League National Championship: \nAustralian National Championship \n\nDates: 13–17 May 2026\nLocation: Blacktown International Sportspark\, NSW\n\nThe winner of the national tournament goes on to represent Australia on the international stage at the Senior League World Series. This pathway makes the state championship a high‑stakes\, high‑intensity week of baseball.

SUMMARY:2026 Think Again Girls Machine Pitch Summer Classic
DESCRIPTION:Baseball WA is excited to announce the return of a beloved tradition: our annual Girls Machine Pitch Summer Classic! This program is aimed specifically at all girls playing tee-ball\, baseball\, softball or brand new to the sport. \nThe 2026 Think Again Girls Machine Pitch Summer Classic will run from 19-22 January at Baseball Park in Thornlie\, playing host to players aged up to 14 years old from all over Western Australia (age as at 31 August 2026). \nIndividuals register for the event and will be placed into teams at the end of the first day and then play three days of games with expert coaching. Each day will start at 9am and finish at 1pm. \nMP70 is machine pitch played on a 70-foot diamond size (same size as Intermediate League) and ideal for regional players\, tee-ballers wanting to give baseball a go and metro players who would benefit from more gameplay and the enjoyment of a tournament-style event. \nAll players shall receive a training shirt and cap as part of their registration\, all insurance cover and coaching staff. \nAny questions relating to this fantastic event should be emailed to pdo@baseballwa.asn.au. \nRegister HERE.
