With great excitement and much anticipation following the success of the Australian Little League Girls Championships (ALLGC) last year, BWA/LLWA can announce that registrations are now open for both coaches and players to participate in the West Coast Rays Little League Girls teams for 2025.
Registrations are open for all League Age 9-12yr old girls who wish to try out for a place on the team. Depending on the number of applicants, tryouts will be over 2 or 3 days. Dates to be advised.
The West Coast Rays will participate in both the Australian Little League Girls Championships, the national tournament set to take place 8-12 July at Redcliffe Baseball Club, Queensland and the Little League State Championship (LLSC) Development Shield (previously known as LL Division 2), held over the Easter weekend State Championship 17-21 April 2025 at Kingsway Reserve (Wanneroo Giants Baseball Club) leading into the ALLGC.
Players can choose to play in one or the other or both teams (LLSC and ALLGC) and are asked to advise of this in the nomination portal. In addition, players may wish to play LLSC for their own charter and ALLGC for the West Coast Rays. That is also acceptable.
