Baseball WA is excited to announce a new commercial partnership with Nexus Airlines, Western Australia’s newest regional airline. With bases in Geraldton and Broome, Nexus Airlines connects the state’s regions, hubs, and cities, creating greater access for all and enabling all corners of Western Australia to thrive.
As part of a one-year commitment, Nexus Airlines will receive naming rights to the Little League Tee-Ball State Championship while supporting travel between Port Hedland/Karratha and Perth for the Pilbara Coast team. Nexus Airlines will also support BWA staff travel on regional development trips across WA.
“We are thrilled to have the support of Nexus Airlines as we look to expand our tee-ball and Little League programs across regional WA,” Baseball WA CEO Lachlan Dale said. “We want children throughout the state to have the opportunity to play our great game, and the generous support of Nexus Airlines will help us work toward that goal.”
Nexus Airlines looks forward to supporting the WA baseball community.
”We are really excited to launch this partnership with Baseball WA and in turn be able to provide more sporting opportunities for young people living in the regions,” said Kym Francesconi, Group External Relations Manager, Nexus Airlines.
“Nexus is Latin for ‘connection’ and connecting people is what we are all about. Sport is a great way to connect with others in your community, so it’s a perfect fit for us.”
