Perth, Wanneroo, Braves, and Morley remain in the top four for Harcher State League standings with just one week to go before the break.

Rockingham Rams 5, Swan Districts Swans 5
Rockingham Rams and Swan Districts tied 5-5 on Tuesday at Empire Ballpark, Thornlie.
Rams were first to get on the board when Chris Proctor hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run. Landen Barns singled to center field on the sixth pitch of the at-bat, which helped Swans tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.
Rockingham captured the lead, 4-1, in the top of the third after Sam Sheppard walked, Stuart Sara was struck by a pitch, and Ashton Crouch walked, each scoring one run.
Swans made it 5-4 in the bottom of the fourth when Rowan Edmunds singled, scoring one run, Michael De Gasperis doubled, scoring one run, and Ashton Hamilton singled, scoring two runs.
Rockingham’s Jesse Sequeira singled down the left field line to tie the game at five in the top of the sixth.
Vinnie Tarantola led things off on the mound for Rockingham. The lefty gave up six hits and five runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out seven and walking two.
Manuel Silva led things off on the hill for Swan Districts. The starting pitcher allowed two hits and four runs (one earned) over two and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking five.
Sequeira went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Rockingham in hits. Rams had a strong eye at the plate, tallying eight walks for the game. Tarantola, Proctor, and Sheppard led the team with two walks each. Proctor also stole two bases.
Hamilton led Swans with two runs batted in. The second baseman went 2-for-3 on the day. Taj Egan also had two hits.
Gosnells Hawks 12, Victoria Park Belmont Reds 2
Robin Adamson drove in eight runs on four hits to lead Gosnells Hawks past Victoria Park Belmont Reds 12-2 on Sunday at Forster Park, Cloverdale. Adamson hit a grand slam to left field in the sixth scoring four and singled in the seventh scoring two. He also hit RBI doubles in the second and fourth innings.
Gosnells first got on the board when Tim Leitch singled, scoring one run. Hawks added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Adamson doubled to right field, and Leitch singled down the left field line, each scoring one run. Adamson followed up with a grand slam to left field in the top of the sixth.
Yuki Narita stepped on the mound first for Gosnells. The hurler surrendered three hits and two runs over five innings, striking out six and walking three.
Logan Warkentin started on the hill for Vic Park. The hurler surrendered six hits and six runs over three and one-third innings, striking out five and walking five.
Ryan Smith pitched two innings of zero-run ball for Gosnells in relief. The hurler surrendered one hit, striking out three and walking none.
Gosnells collected 11 hits in the game. Leitch went 2-for-4 while Lee Wisby paced the team with two out of eight walks. The Hawks defense was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. David Burgess made the most plays with 11.
Joshua Greenham led Vic Park with two runs batted in from the number seven spot in the lineup. The catcher went 2-for-3 on the day.
Vic Park turned one double play in the game. Reds were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error as Greenham made the most plays with seven.
Braves 6, South Perth 0
Braves defeated South Perth 6-0 on Sunday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Sam Kennelly and Shaun Atamanchuk each pitched for Braves in the game. Atamanchuk threw out a runner after a dropped third strike to get the last out.
An error put Braves on board in the bottom of the first. They added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after a wild pitch and an error, both scoring one run.
Nicholas Davis grounded into a fielder’s choice, making the score 4-0 in the third.
Kennelly earned the win for Braves. The pitcher gave up three hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out six and walking one. Atamanchuk threw two innings of scoreless ball in relief, allowing one hit, striking out three and walking one.
Aaron Atkinson took the loss for South Perth. The hurler went eight innings, giving up six runs (two earned) on four hits, striking out none and walking six.
Davis, Cody Parkinson, Joel Beches, and James Smibert each collected one hit for Braves. Davis and Beches each drove in one run.
Braves had patience at the plate, totaling six walks for the game. Beches and Josh Kennelly led the team with two walks each. Kevin Clark stole two bases.
The winning defense turned one double play in the game. They were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error as Parkinson made the most plays with 14.
Atkinson, Daniel Atkinson, Brett Walters, and Justis Hellegards each collected one hit for South Perth.
Carine Cats 15, Wanneroo Giants 9
Marcus Strother drove in four runs on two hits to lead Carine Cats past Wanneroo Giants 15-9 on Sunday at Mateljan Park, Madeley. Strother hit a home run to left field in the sixth inning, scoring three runs, and singled in the seventh inning, scoring one.
Bats blistered as both teams collected 15 hits in the high-scoring game.
Carine got on the board in the second inning after Brendan Heath hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.
Wanneroo flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the fifth, scoring six runs on five hits to take the lead, 6-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a home run to left field by Daniel Stephenson that drove in three.
In the top of the sixth, Carine scored 11 runs on eight hits to take the lead, 12-6. A home run to left field by Strother on the seventh pitch of the at-bat drove in three.
Conor Lourey stepped on the hill first for Carine. The pitcher surrendered seven hits and five runs over four and one-third innings, striking out four and walking three. Elliot Giddens, Jacob Stanton, and Tim Holmes each appeared in relief.
Ethan Cooper opened the game for Wanneroo. The right-handed pitcher gave up zero hits and one run (zero earned) over two innings, striking out one and walking one.
Strother, Carlos Salas, Bailey Moorfield, Jack Angeloff, and Holmes each collected two hits for Carine.
Wanneroo’s Daniel Bourke, the number eight hitter, led with three hits in five at-bats. Stephenson and Courtney Jones each drove in three runs while Byron Armstrong, Nicholas Riley, Adam Barbarich, and Henry Schineller had multiple hits. The defense turned two double plays in the game.
Morley 14, Perth 5
Morley rallied to defeat Perth 14-5 on Sunday at Crimea Park. Eagles trailed by as many as four runs during the game.
Morley scored eight runs in the third inning on the way to victory. Nick Ultsch singled, scoring one run, Mitch Graham singled, scoring one run, Matt Dixon singled, scoring one run, Joshua Silvi tripled, scoring three runs, and Cameron Bahr tripled, scoring two runs.
Perth got on the board in the top of the first inning after Dylan Bojarski homered to right field, and Austin Moyle singled down the right field line, each scoring one run. They added one run in the second and another in the third. Jake White singled to the left side of the infield on an 0-2 count, making the score 4-0 before Morley fought back.
Kane Silvi earned the win for Morley. The hurler allowed eight hits and four runs over five innings, striking out three and walking three. Brendan Sing collected the save and Raleigh Pelkonen appeared in relief.
Christopher St-Pierre took the loss for Perth. The starter went two and two-thirds innings, surrendering eight runs on seven hits, striking out two and walking one.
Morley tallied 12 hits in the game. Bahr, Ultsch, and Graham each collected two hits while Silvi and Graham each drove in three runs.
Perth tallied 10 hits in the game. Moyle and Jordano Vivona were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits while batting back-to-back. White, Moyle, Jalen McGee, and Bojarski each drove in one run.
Swan Districts Swans 10, Rockingham Rams 1
Swan Districts beat Rockingham Rams 10-1 on Sunday at Hourglass Reserve, Cooloongup.
Swans got on the board in the top of the third inning after Sam Sheppard induced Landen Barns to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored, and Brody Clarkson singled, scoring two runs.
Dillan Clarkson stepped on the bump first for Swan Districts. The pitcher allowed two hits and one run over seven innings, striking out four and walking four.
Sheppard opened the game for Rockingham. The starter surrendered six hits and three runs over four and one-third innings, striking out three and walking five.
Boston Foot threw two innings of no-run ball for Swans in relief. The reliever surrendered two hits, striking out one and walking one.
Swan Districts tallied 15 hits in the game, with three apiece for Foot and Rowan Edmunds. Foot, Barns, and Edmunds each drove in two runs while Clarkson, Ashton Hamilton, and Cole Snidow also collected multiple hits.
Swans had patience at the plate, tallying eight walks for the game. Hamilton, Riley Ozanne, and Michael De Gasperis led the team with two free passes each.
The winning defense turned one double play in the game. Swans were sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Clarkson had the most fielding chances with 12.
Joshua Diggins, David Nichols, Vinnie Tarantola, and Chris Proctor each collected one hit for Rockingham. Tarantola went 1-for-4 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in.
