“Congratulations to the 2025 WA Women’s State Team! This is an amazing opportunity to represent on the national stage, and we know these talented women’s baseballers will make us very proud,” Baseball WA CEO Lachlan Dale said. “It will be an incredible week of women’s baseball action along with our Youth Women’s State Team. We wish everyone the best of luck as final tournament prep gets underway.”
WA won the 2023 Australian Women’s Championship, bringing home a gold medal, and finished fourth last year after bouncing back to win their final four games.
Head Coach Andrew Cooke will be joined by assistant coaches Leon Cornish and Guy Bellair, EO Amanda Mirco, and physio Aria Almassi.
“I am super excited to be part of the group representing WA at the Australian Championships in 2025, and I’m looking forward to the challenges ahead,” Cooke said. “Our goal is to cultivate hardworking and focused athletes while continuing to develop players with an emphasis on teamwork and perseverance.”
