Congratulations to Braves Baseball Club on winning the 2024/25 Under 16s Girls Grand Final!
Braves went 14-0 on the season after defeating second-place Carine Lynx 15-3 on Sunday at Frankland Park.
Well done to all teams – Braves, Carine, and Kalamunda on a fantastic season with a bright future ahead for youth women’s baseball!

Jemma Golding collected three hits in three at-bats, as Braves defeated Carine Lynx 15-3. Golding singled in the first, third, and fifth innings.
Golding struck out 10 batters on the day. The starting pitcher also gave up two hits and one run over four innings while walking three. Jaimie Vlasic appeared in relief.
Braves got on the board in the bottom of the first after two errors, singles by Summer Hiscock and Golding, and Madison White stealing home, each scoring one run.
Braves extended their early lead with six runs in the bottom of the third thanks to RBI singles by Golding, White, Elizabeth Stewart, Isla Taylor, and Ava Kennelly.
Carine starter Emily Hosken walked zero and struck out eight.
Braves tallied 15 hits in the game. Golding and Hiscock were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected three hits while Vlasic and Kennelly had two each. Aleigha Auld, Hiscock, White, and Lily Duckworth each stole multiple bases with 16 total in the game.
Courtney Fink went 1-for-2 at the plate and led Carine with two runs batted in. Hosken, Fink, and Keira Woodcroft each collected one hit.
