Harcher State League Semi-Finals are done and dusted, with Braves defeating Wanneroo and Morley overpowering Perth.
The best-of-three Grand Final Series starts Wednesday 26 March with Braves vs. Morley.

Braves 4, Wanneroo Giants 0
Braves defeated Wanneroo Giants 4-0 on Tuesday at Baseball Park as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Todd Hatcher and Tucker Smith each pitched for Braves in the game. Hatcher induced a line out from Quinn Fatai to get the last out.
Braves were first to get on the board in the second when Matt Kennelly homered to left field, scoring two runs. They added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Ben Drew hit a sacrifice fly, and Kennelly singled to the left side of the infield, each scoring one run.
Smith earned the win for Braves. The pitcher surrendered five hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out four and walking four.
Callum Schipp took the loss for Wanneroo. The righty went four innings, giving up four runs on six hits, striking out one and walking two.
Hatcher threw four innings of zero-run ball for Braves in relief. The reliever surrendered one hit, striking out seven and walking none.
Kennelly went 2-for-4 at the plate and led the team with three runs batted in. Braves turned two double plays in the game. The defense didn’t commit a single error in the field as Kevin Clark had the most chances with 11.
Daniel Stephenson and Fatai each collected two hits for Wanneroo. Giants didn’t commit a single error in the field as Henry Schineller had the most chances with seven.
Braves 7, Wanneroo Giants 2
Braves beat Wanneroo Giants 7-2 on Thursday at Baseball Park. Braves jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after James Smibert doubled, scoring one run, and Ben Drew singled, scoring two runs.
Byron Armstrong homered to left field, scoring two runs in the bottom of the first for Wanneroo.
Braves added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Drew singled down the right field line, Wanneroo committed an error, and Josh Kennelly singled to center field, each scoring one run.
Matt Kennelly started on the bump for Braves. The starting pitcher surrendered eight hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out eight and walking none.
Zane Morrison began the game for Wanneroo. The starting pitcher gave up 12 hits and six runs (four earned) over five innings, striking out three and walking one.
Todd Hatcher pitched two innings of no-run ball for Braves in relief. The reliever surrendered zero hits, striking out two and walking none.
Braves collected 16 hits in the game. Drew drove the middle of the lineup, leading with three runs batted in. The outfielder went 2-for-5 on the day. Kennelly, the number eight hitter, led with four hits in five at-bats. Smibert, Tim Kennelly, and Kennelly each collected multiple hits.
Armstrong provided pop in the middle of the lineup, leading Wanneroo with two runs batted in. The infielder went 3-for-4 on the day. Giants turned two double plays in the game.
Morley Eagles 10, Perth 2
Morley Eagles easily dispatched Perth on Wednesday at Baseball Park, 10-2.
A fielder’s choice by Jordano Vivona put Perth on the board in the bottom of the fourth.
Morley tied the game up in the top of the sixth thanks to two singles. Eagles made it 2-2 on a single by Kieran Chapman.
A home run to left field by Ulrich Bojarski gave Morley the lead, 5-2, in the top of the seventh.
Morley scored five runs on three hits in the top of the ninth inning. Aaron Bonomi singled, scoring one run, Chapman doubled, scoring three runs, and a wild pitch scored one run.
Kieren Hall stepped on the bump first for Morley. The right-handed pitcher allowed five hits and two runs (zero earned) over five innings, striking out nine and walking none.
Jake White started on the bump for Perth. The starting pitcher gave up eight hits and two runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking three. Brendan Sing and Warwick Saupold each threw shutout innings for Morley in relief.
Morley piled up 13 hits in the game. Chapman, the number seven hitter, led with three hits in five at-bats. Bojarski and Chapman each drove in three runs while Bonomi and Jess Williams had multiple hits. Morley’s strong eye at the plate led to seven walks, with two apiece for Reece Thompson and Alex Hall.
Vivona led Perth with one run batted in. Joshua McGee went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Perth in hits. They turned one double play in the game with no errors while Dylan Bojarski made the most plays with 10.
Morley Eagles 6, Perth 4
Morley Eagles beat Perth 6-4 on Friday at Baseball Park. Morley was first on the board in the second when Ulrich Bojarski hit a solo home run to center field.
Perth made the score 3-1 in the top of the third after an error scored one run, and Spencer Sarringar doubled, scoring two runs.
Morley tied the game in the bottom of the third thanks to a double by Alex Hall, and a sacrifice fly by Mitch Graham.
A sacrifice fly by Kieran Chapman gave Morley the lead, 4-3, in the bottom of the fourth. Jordano Vivona walked, which helped Perth tie the game at four in the top of the sixth.
In the bottom of the seventh inning, Morley went back into the lead after Bojarski walked, and Aaron Bonomi hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run.
Brendan Sing earned the win for Morley. The pitcher surrendered two hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out four and walking none.
Travis McDonald took the loss for Perth. The pitcher went three and one-third innings, allowing two runs on two hits, striking out two and walking three.
Kane Silvi started on the mound for Morley. The pitcher surrendered seven hits and four runs (two earned) over five innings, striking out none and walking two.
Cruze Brendon led things off on the hill for Perth. The starting pitcher allowed two hits and four runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking four. Warwick Saupold collected the save.
Bojarski provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Morley with two runs batted in. The outfielder went 1-for-2 on the day. Bojarski, Bonomi, Nick Ultsch, and Hall each collected one hit.
Morley also had patience at the plate, piling up 10 walks for the game. Bojarski, Matt Dixon, and Hall led the team with two free passes each. Eagles turned two double plays in the game, too.
Perth piled up nine hits in the game. Sarringar drove the middle of the lineup, leading with two runs batted in on a 2-for-4 day. Jalen McGee and Sarringar each collected two hits for Perth.
