Overview
The Perth Heat, in collaboration with Baseball WA and BPSG, are excited to host a 14U Invitational Tournament at Baseball Park during the first week of January 2026. This event aims to provide a competitive, and development focused experience for young baseball players from across Western Australia.

Offer a structured tournament environment for 14U players.
- Encourage skill development and teamwork through quality competition.
- Form a Perth Heat Futures Squad (potentially two teams) to participate in a US tour in July 2026.
- Create opportunities for players to experience baseball on a broader stage.
- Ensure accessibility through low-cost entry and support for travel fundraising.
Event Details
- Location: Baseball Park
- Dates: January 2–5, 2026 (4-day event)
- Age Group: U14 (players must be born in 2012 or later)
- Teams: 16 teams from across WA and Australia
- Individuals: Players can register individually and will be placed into a team
- Player Fee: $115 per player – covers tournament costs (excluding umpires). Any remaining funds will help subsidise the US tour.
- Format: Round-robin followed by a playoff bracket
- Umpires: Teams to provide their own umpire
- Scorer: Teams to provide their own scorer
Pathway to US Tour

Selection: At the end of the tournament, players will be invited to join the Perth Futures Squad 2026
- Preparation: The squad will take part in training and development activities throughout the 2026 ABL season and offseason, supported by Perth Heat staff and coaches
- US Tour: In July 2026, the squad will travel to the United States to participate in games and showcase events
- Affordability: The tour will be designed to keep costs low, with support from BPSG’s network of US-based teams and facilities
