Baseball WA’s introduction of Little League T-Ball is already making a strong impact, with the program delivering significant growth in participation across its first full year.
Following a successful launch, more than 400 players have taken part in Little League T-Ball programs across Western Australia, with additional regional programs set to finalise registrations before the end of June.
The results at club level highlight the effectiveness of the initiative.
Tee-ball clubs that implemented Little League T-Ball recorded an average 12.6% increase in overall membership, while clubs that did not adopt the program experienced a 4.3% decline.
This contrast reinforces the role Little League T-Ball is playing in strengthening participation pathways and supporting sustainable club growth across Tee-ball in WA.
Programs have been delivered across both metropolitan and regional WA, with strong engagement from communities including Busselton, Karratha, Newman, Kambalda and the Goldfields, among others.
Baseball WA is proud of the program’s early success and the way clubs have embraced the opportunity to grow the game at the grassroots level.
With clear results in year one, the focus now shifts to expanding Little League T-Ball further across the state, providing more young players with a structured and enjoyable introduction to tee-ball and baseball.
