It was an epic end to the 2026 Baseball WA Winter League Season, with thrilling grand finals as Vic Park, Wanneroo, Carine, and Rockingham came away big winners.

Division 1
Victoria Park Belmont Reds 6, Swan Districts Swans 2
Victoria Park Belmont Reds were victorious against Swan Districts Swans 6-2 on Saturday.
Swans were first to get on the board in the opening frame when Eric Webb drew a walk, scoring one run.
Michael Albertini singled to left field, which helped Vic Park tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.
Reds jumped back into the lead after Jackie Wu walked and Scott Hood grounded out, each scoring one run in the second.
Callum Hurrelbrink started the game for Vic Park. The pitcher surrendered two hits and one run over three innings, striking out five and walking three. Jason Armstrong appeared in relief.
Webb started on the hill for Swan Districts. He allowed two hits and three runs over two innings, striking out two and walking three.
Albertini drove the middle of the lineup, leading Vic Park with two runs batted in. The number three hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. Jett Marchesano and Albertini each collected two hits while Brendan Wingate led with two of the team’s six walks.
Webb went 1-for-1 at the plate and led Swans with one run batted in. Webb, Shameus Kjellgren, and Ronnie Yip each collected one hit as the defense turned one double play in the game.
Division 2
Wanneroo Giants 5, Gosnells Hawks 3
Wanneroo Giants defeated Gosnells Hawks 5-3 on Saturday. Gosnells were first to get on the board in the opening frame when Jaymee Ridley grounded out, scoring one run.
Harry Nickoll singled to left field, which helped Giants tie it up at one in the top of the third. They scored again in the fourth on an error and a fielder’s choice by Jarryd Searle to extend the lead to 3-1.
Gosnells tied the game in the bottom of the sixth thanks to a single by Darcy Baron and an error.
Wanneroo broke up the tie in the top of the eighth when Samuel Lemieux singled, scoring one run. Then a fly out by Nickoll followed to extend the lead to 5-3.
Austin Mackie stepped on the hill first for Giants. The starting pitcher allowed one hit and one run (zero earned) over three innings, striking out six and walking none.
Ryder Wheatley started the game for Hawks. He gave up three hits and one run over three innings, striking out two and walking two.
Lemieux tossed two innings of no-run ball for Wanneroo in relief. The hurler surrendered one hit, striking out four and walking none.
Robert Sorensen and Nickoll were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Wanneroo. Nickoll, Lemieux, and Grace Spano each drove in one run while Kai Palmer paced the team with two out of seven total walks.
Lemieux threw an immaculate inning in the eighth, striking out the side on nine pitches.
Riley Liddelow, Palmer, and Spano each stole multiple bases for Wanneroo, piling up six stolen bases for the game.
Simon Kum, Ridley, and Baron each collected one hit for Gosnells. Ridley and Baron were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in one run. Ridley had two of the team’s five stolen bases.
Under 15
Carine Cats 5, Alkimos Titans 4
Carine Cats took Saturday’s game in dramatic fashion, with a 5-4 walk-off victory over Alkimos Titans.
The game was tied at four in the bottom of the fifth when Thomas Jackson singled, scoring one run. Carine came back to win despite trailing 4-0 in the second.
Alkimos got on board in the top of the first inning after Ben Sartain walked and Cats threw a wild pitch, each scoring one run. An error extended the Alkimos lead to 4-0, but a third-inning rally saw the Cats tie it up in the bottom of the third with back-to-back bases-loaded walks to Archie Arbuckle and Alexander Shea, plus a wild pitch.
Harrison Stilian stepped on the hill first for Carine. The starting pitcher surrendered one hit and two runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking three.
Jaxon Moulds stepped on the bump first for Alkimos Titans U15. The starting pitcher gave up zero hits and two runs over two innings, striking out four and walking four.
Shea threw two innings of zero-run ball for Carine in relief. The pitcher gave up zero hits, striking out four and walking none.
Jackson led Cats with one hit in one at-bat. Arbuckle, Shea, and Jackson each drove in one run as the lineup worked the count all day, piling up eight walks.
Kodi Burns led Alkimos with two hits in two at-bats while Sartain led with one run batted in. The defense was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error as Burns made the most plays with 10.
Under 13
Rockingham Rams 9, Carine Cats 7
Rockingham Rams trailed by as many as four, but came back to defeat Carine Cats on Saturday, 9-7.
Rockingham didn’t take the lead until later in the game. It was tied at seven in the top of the fourth when a wild pitch scored two runs.
Rams were first to get on the board when Lachlan Blaber singled, scoring one run.
Carine took the lead in the bottom of the first when Cooper De Groot singled, scoring two runs, to give them a 2-1 advantage. They added to their early lead in the second on a wild pitch before Reece Martin walked and Alex Kingston grounded out, each scoring one run.
Rams tied it in the top of the third thanks to a groundout by Declan Langford, a walk by Eli Dlugi, and a groundout by Reid Drogan.
Carine took the lead in the bottom of the third. De Groot hit an inside-the-park home run, scoring two runs, to give them the leg up, 7-5.
Rams captured the lead, 9-7, in the top of the fourth when Brooklyn Sikalevski drew a walk, scoring one run, Bentley Sikalerski singled, scoring one run, and a wild pitch scored two runs.
Rockingham starter Remi Smith gave up two hits and five runs (four earned) over one and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking four.
Rachel Hosken stepped on the mound first for Carine, giving up two hits and one run (zero earned) over two innings, striking out three and walking one.
Blaber tossed one inning of shutout ball for Rockingham in relief, allowing zero hits while striking out three and walking one.
Drogan led the team with two runs batted in. Damian Collins, Blaber, Sikalerski, and Wynter Kelland each collected one hit for Rockingham as Michael LePage took two of the team’s seven walks.
De Groot provided pop in the middle of the lineup, leading Carine with four runs batted in as the cleanup hitter went 2-for-2 on the day. Cats had patience at the plate, tallying eight walks for the game as Martin and Hosken led the team with two bases on balls each.
