Harcher State League Finals are officially underway, with Wanneroo and Rockingham facing off on Friday night. Giants prevailed 11-5 over Rams in the elimination final and will now move on to face Braves in Semi-Final 1, starting ths Tuesday at 7pm. Morley and Perth are playing Semi-Final 2.

Wanneroo Giants 11, Rockingham Rams 5
Henry Schineller drove in four runs on four hits to lead Wanneroo Giants past Rockingham Rams 11-5 on Friday at Baseball Park. Schineller doubled in the first scoring two, singled in the second scoring one, and doubled in the seventh scoring one.
Wanneroo opened scoring in the bottom of the first thanks to two doubles. Giants first got on the board when Schineller doubled, scoring two runs.
Wanneroo added one run in the second after Schineller singled down the right field line. They added one run in the third after Quinn Fatai singled down the left field line.
Zane Morrison earned the win for Wanneroo. The starting pitcher gave up seven hits and five runs (three earned) over six innings, striking out six and walking two.
Vinnie Tarantola took the loss for Rockingham. The starter went three and two-thirds innings, surrendering seven runs on 11 hits, striking out seven and walking two.
Frazer Brice tossed three innings of scoreless ball for Wanneroo in relief. The right-handed pitcher gave up one hit, striking out three and walking one.
Wanneroo accumulated 20 hits in the game. Schineller and Ethan Cooper each collected four hits. Daniel Bourke, Byron Armstrong, Adam Barbarich, Daniel Stephenson, and Fatai each collected multiple hits while the defense turned one double play in the game.
Chris Proctor provided pop in the middle of the lineup, leading Rockinghamwith two runs batted in. The number three hitter went 2-for-4 on the day. Joshua Diggins led with three hits in five at bats from the leadoff position.
