Perth, Braves, Morley, and Wanneroo finish the year in the top four Harcher State League standings heading into the break.

Perth 6, Morley Eagles 3
Perth were victorious against Morley Eagles 6-3 on Tuesday at Empire Ballpark. A groundout by Dylan Bojarski put Perth on the board in the bottom of the first.
Joshua Silvi hit a sacrifice fly, which helped Morley tie the game at one in the top of the second. Eagles made it 3-1 in the top of the third when Nick Ultsch and Jayson Miller singled, each scoring one run.
Perth took the lead in the bottom of the third inning after Joshua McGee grounded out, Morley dropped a third strike, and Austin Moyle singled to right field, each scoring one run.
Spencer Sarringar earned the win for Perth. The pitcher gave up three hits and zero runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking one.
Koskei Partington-Hopes took the loss for Morley Eagles. The starter went four innings, allowing five runs (four earned) on eight hits, striking out three and walking two.
Jordano Vivona led things off on the hill for Perth. The pitcher gave up five hits and three runs over four and one-third innings, striking out four and walking three.
Perth piled up 13 hits in the game. Bojarski provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led with three runs batted in. The first baseman went 2-for-4 on the day. Jake White, Riley Oliphant, Moyle, Vivona, and Bojarski each collected two hits.
Morley tallied nine hits in the game. Jess Williams led with three hits in three at bats. Miller, Silvi, and Ultsch each drove in one run while the defense turned three double plays.
Braves 8, South Perth Souths 6
The bottom of the lineup helped Braves capture an 8-6 victory over South Perth on Friday at Empire Ballpark, Thornlie. Daniel Choi, Cody Parkinson, and Josh Kennelly combined for five of the team’s nine hits in the victory. They scored one run and drove in four.
Ben Drew collected three hits in four at-bats in the win. Drew singled in the second and sixth innings and hit a home run to left field in the fifth.
A single by Choi put Braves on the board in the top of the second.
Oliver McMahon homered to left field following a 6-pitch at-bat, which helped South Perth tie the game at two in the bottom of the second.
Braves took the lead in the top of the fourth. Choi singled, scoring one run, to give Braves the lead, 3-2.
Daniel Atkinson grounded into a fielder’s choice, which helped South Perth tie the game at three in the bottom of the fourth.
In the top of the fifth, Braves broke up the tie when Drew homered to left field, scoring two runs. Then a double by Kennelly followed to extend the lead to 6-3.
South Perth tied the game in the bottom of the fifth thanks to a single by McMahon and an error.
Braves took the lead in the top of the sixth inning after Sam Kennelly singled to center field, and Drew singled to left field, each scoring one run.
Campbell Froude started on the mound for Braves. The starting pitcher gave up one hit and two runs over three innings, striking out three and walking four.
Aaron Atkinson stepped on the hill first for South Perth. The pitcher allowed five hits and three runs over four innings, striking out none and walking three.
Kennelly tossed one inning of zero-run ball for Braves in relief. The reliever gave up one hit, striking out three and walking none.
Braves accumulated nine hits in the game. Drew and Kennelly each collected three hits while Choi and Drew each drove in three runs. The defense turned one double play in the game.
McMahon went 2-for-2 at the plate and led the team with three runs batted in. South Perth had patience at the plate, piling up seven walks for the game with two apiece for Kane Cole and Justis Hellegards.
Carine Cats 3, Rockingham Rams 2
Carine Cats defeated Rockingham Rams 3-2 on Sunday after taking the lead late in the game. It was tied at two in the top of the eighth when Josh Davies singled, scoring one run.
Both teams were strong on the mound. Carine pitchers struck out 10, while Rockingham sat down 14.
A single by Thomas Summers put Cats on the board in the top of the fifth.
Rockingham tied the game in the bottom of the sixth thanks to a single by Vinnie Tarantola and an error.
Conor Lourey opened the game for Carine. The hurler surrendered four hits and two runs (one earned) over six innings, striking out five and walking two. Marcus Strother and Tim Holmes each threw shutout innings in relief.
Kodai Kombara started on the hill for Rockingham. The pitcher gave up two hits and one run (zero earned) over five innings, striking out 10 and walking none.
Davies provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Carine with two runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 2-for-4 on the day. Davies also had two hits.
Tarantola went 3-for-4 at the plate and led Rockingham with one run batted in.
Morley Eagles 5, Wanneroo Giants 3
Morley Eagles were triumphant over Wanneroo Giants 5-3 on Sunday at Crimea Park. Eagles got onboard in the first inning after Jayson Miller singled, scoring one run.
Jacob Santich hit a sacrifice fly, which helped Wanneroo tie the game at one in the top of the fourth.
In the bottom of the fifth inning, Morley went back into the lead after George Calverley homered to left field, Aaron Bonomi doubled to right field, and Bonomi stole home, each scoring one run.
Kane Silvi earned the win for Morley. The pitcher allowed four hits and one run (zero earned) over six innings, striking out four and walking four.
Zane Morrison led things off on the mound for Wanneroo. The pitcher surrendered nine hits and four runs over five innings, striking out three and walking two.
Brendan Sing pitched one inning of zero-run ball for Morley in relief. The pitcher gave up zero hits, striking out one and walking none.
Morley tallied 12 hits in the game. Reece Thompson, the number nine hitter, led with three hits in four at-bats. Bonomi had two runs batted in on a 2-for-3 day. Miller and Nick Ultsch each collected multiple hits, too.
Dawson George led Wanneroo with two runs batted in from the number eight spot in the lineup. The infielder went 1-for-4 on the day. Courtney Jones went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Giants in hits. Meanwhile the defense turned one double play with no errors in the field and six chances for Jones, the most on the team.
Gosnells Hawks 6, South Perth Souths 1
South Perth could not keep up with Gosnells Hawks 6-1 on Sunday at Tom Bateman Reserve, Thornlie.
South Perth were first to get on the board in the third when a wild pitch scored one run. Lee Wisby singled to center field, which helped Gosnells tie the game at one in the bottom of the third.
Gosnells took a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the sixth when Tim Leitch singled, scoring one run.
Yuki Narita earned the win for Gosnells. The hurler allowed four hits and one run over eight innings, striking out 17 and walking three.
Tysaac Noland took the loss for South Perth. The pitcher went six and two-thirds innings, allowing six runs on eight hits, striking out five and walking five.
Brett Walters, Daniel Atkinson, Jaxon Limpus, and Oliver McMahon each collected one hit for South Perth. Limpus stole two bases and the defense turned one double play in the game.
Gosnells totaled nine hits in the game. Wisby, Robin Adamson, Leitch, and Sam Freedman each collected two hits. Adamson and Leitch were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in two runs. Ryan Smith paced Hawks with three out of seven walks.
Swan Districts Swans 1, UWA Magpies 0
Swan Districts defeated UWA Magpies 1-0 on Saturday at Charlie Hodder Field, Middle Swan as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Boston Foot and Dillan Clarkson each pitched for Swans in the game. Foot induced a groundout from Jacob Davila to get the last out.
Both teams were strong on the bump. Swan Districts pitchers struck out eight, while UWA Magpies sat down 10.
Swan Districts opened scoring in the third after Cole Snidow doubled, scoring one run.
Clarkson earned the win for Swan Districts. The pitcher gave up four hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out five and walking three.
Kodai Hamaya started on the hill for UWA Magpies. The hurler surrendered four hits and one run over six innings, striking out seven and walking one.
Foot pitched three innings of shutout ball for Swan Districts in relief. The reliever gave up one hit, striking out three and walking one.
Snidow went 1-for-3 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. Ashton Hamilton had two hits in four at-bats.
Swan Districts didn’t commit a single error in the field. Landen Barns had the most fielding chances with 11.
Tyler Hill led UWA Magpies with three hits in three at-bats. The defense turned one double play in the game.
