The 2024 Women’s Elite Series continued with a big win for Braves over Carine on Wednesday night at Empire Ballpark.
As a new Club Cup Tournament, the Women’s Elite Series follows a single-round format for four games, with the top four teams advancing to the semi-finals. Games are seven innings with a two-hour time limit, and each one is broadcast on Streamer (7West Media) as part of a new partnership.

Braves 17, Carine Cats 0
Mia Davis collected three hits in four at-bats, as Braves defeated Carine Cats 17-0 on Wednesday at Empire Ballpark. Davis singled in the first and fourth innings.
Braves got on board in the top of the first when Caitlin Eynon singled, scoring one run. They added to their early lead in the top of the second after Leah Cornish singled to center field, and Madison White doubled down the right field line, each scoring two runs.
Jemma Golding singled down the left field line, Carine committed an error, and Eynon hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run for Braves in the third.
Braves added seven runs on four hits in the top of the fourth inning. Emilee Hone drew a walk, scoring one run, an error scored two runs, White doubled, scoring three runs, and Davis singled, scoring one run.
Amanda Mirco opened the game for Braves. The starter gave up four hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out four and walking one.
Chloe Scott stepped on the bump first for Carine. The hurler allowed seven hits and 10 runs (eight earned) over two and one-third innings, striking out four and walking three.
Braves tallied 11 hits in the game. White drove the middle of the lineup, leading Braves with five runs batted in. The catcher went 2-for-4 on the day. Golding and Davis each collected three hits while Hone paced the team with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, collecting six walks for the game.
Shenaye Lett and Cornish each stole multiple bases with eight total for the game. The team was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Lett made the most plays with five.
Stephanie O’Neill, Peyton Newman, Briah Burke, and Taylor Bell each collected one hit for Carine.
