The 2025-26 Qbit CBL N/S Division 1 season continued with a big weekend featuring wins to Roleystone, Wanneroo, and Willetton in Week 10.

Roleystone 14, Alkimos Titans 4
Mitchell Smart drove in four runs on two hits to lead Roleystone past Alkimos Titans 14-4 on Sunday at Halesworth Park D2. In the fifth inning, Smart homered to right field, scoring three runs.
Alkimos got on board in the bottom of the first after Dylahn Lawrence grounded into a fielder’s choice, and Phil Burns doubled down the right field line, each scoring one run.
Roleystone took the lead in the top of the second. An error scored three runs to give them the upper hand, 3-2.
Titans took the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Matt Butterworth was struck by a pitch, and Leighton Matthews walked, each scoring one run.
Roleystone went ahead 5-4 in the third when Anthony Scidone grounded out, scoring two runs. They added five more runs in the fifth on three hits. An error scored two runs, and Smart homered to right field, scoring three runs.
Jamie Wilkes began the game for Roleystone. The pitcher gave up three hits and four runs (three earned) over two innings, striking out one and walking four. Jesse Scidone pitched three innings in relief, giving up zero hits and zero runs while striking out five and walking one.
Lawrence started the game for Alkimos. The pitcher surrendered six hits and nine runs (five earned) over four innings, striking out four and walking three.
Roleystone collected nine hits in the game with two apiece for Scidone, Smart, and Wilkes. Josh Coe and Andrew Drury each stole multiple bases as the team had 10 total, plus two double plays on defense.Xavier Longley, Matthews, and Burns each collected one hit for Alkimos. Matthews, Burns, and Butterworth each drove in one run.
Wanneroo Giants 6, Balcatta Bears 5
Wanneroo Giants took Sunday’s game in dramatic fashion, with a 6-5 walk-off victory over Balcatta Bears at Mateljan Oval D3. The game was tied at five in the bottom of the seventh when Sam Zurzolo scored after tagging up.
Wanneroo came back to win despite trailing 5-1 in the third. Balcatta got on board in the top of the first after Ashley Murchison singled down the left field line, and Jan Wittnebel grounded into a fielder’s choice, each scoring one run.
A walk by Brad Gaynor extended the Balcatta lead to 4-1 in the second, followed by Jarrad Tate’s RBI single to make it 5-1 in the third.
Zurzolo grounded into a fielder’s choice, which helped Wanneroo tie the game at five in the bottom of the fourth.
Meaghan Haggart earned the win for Giants, giving up one hit and zero runs over two innings, striking out four and walking none. Grace Spano led things off on the mound, giving up nine hits and five runs (three earned) over five innings, striking out three and walking three.
Fraser Clarke started on the mound for Balcatta. The pitcher surrendered four hits and five runs (four earned) over four innings, striking out three and walking three.
Haggart drove the middle of the lineup, leading Wanneroo with two runs batted in. Charlotte Yates, Xavier De Haas, Zurzolo, Madison Lines, and Spano each collected one hit while Yates and Ryla Larner each stole multiple bases with seven overall in the game.
Balcatta totaled 10 hits, led by Wittnebel with three hits in four at-bats. Murchison, Wittnebel, and Tate each drove in one run while Blake Farrow collected two hits in three at-bats. Clarke stole four bases with six total in the game plus a double play on defense.
Willetton Wildcats 3, Braves 0
Both teams were strong on the bump on Sunday, but Willetton Wildcats defeated Braves 3-0. Michael Bellenger started the game for Willetton and recorded nine outs.
Willetton opened scoring in the first after Sean Wright singled, scoring one run.
Bellenger led things off on the hill for Willetton. The pitcher surrendered zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out two and walking one.
Conor Stewart stepped on the bump first for Braves. The starting pitcher surrendered two hits and one run over one inning, striking out one and walking one.
Wright drove the middle of the lineup, leading Willetton with two runs batted in. The outfielder went 2-for-2 on the day. Wildcats were sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error as Geoffotterman had the most chances with four.
Braves didn’t commit a single error in the field as Rhys Anderson had the most chances with seven.
Carine Cats Blue 0, Carine Cats Grey 0
Carine Cats Blue and Carine Cats Grey played to a 0-0 tie on Sunday at Tindale Park D1 in two innings.
Carine Grey jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Brett Plummer singled, scoring two runs, Scott Plenderleith singled, scoring one run, one run scored on another play, and an error scored one run.
Mitchell Fragall opened the game for Carine Blue. The starting pitcher surrendered two hits and five runs (four earned) over one inning, striking out two and walking four.
Justin Hayto began the game for Carine Grey. The right-handed pitcher surrendered one hit and one run (zero earned) over one inning, striking out one and walking two.
Nathan Magorian went 1-for-1 at the plate to lead Carine Blue in hits.
Plummer provided pop in the middle of the lineup, leading Carine Grey with two runs batted in. The infielder went 1-for-1 on the day. Plummer and Plenderleith were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected one hit while Paul Flanagan stole two bases. The team ran wild on the base paths, collecting five stolen bases for the game.
