The 2025-26 Qbit CBL N/S Division 1 season is headed into the holiday break after a big weekend featuring wins to Roleystone, Willetton, and Braves in Week 11.

Roleystone 8, Wanneroo Giants 4
Mitchell Smart drove in five runs on three hits to lead Roleystone past Wanneroo Giants 8-4 on Sunday at Mateljan Oval D1. Smart doubled in the first inning, scoring three runs, and singled in the sixth inning, scoring two.
After Smart’s bases-clearing double in the first, Roleystone added to their early lead in the third when Jamie Wilkes hit a sacrifice fly, and Michael North singled down the left field line, each scoring one run.
Josh Coe stepped on the mound first for Roleystone, allowing three hits and three runs (two earned) over four and one-third innings, striking out four and walking seven. Jesse Scidone appeared in relief.
Madison Lines started on the hill for Wanneroo, giving up five hits and five runs (three earned) over three innings, striking out three and walking two.
Roleystone totaled 10 hits in the game. Dwayne Pycroft and Andrew Drury each collected multiple hits as the team stole four bases and turned one double play on defense.
Xavier De Haas, Lines, Meaghan Haggart, and Grace Spano each collected one hit for Wanneroo. De Haas, Lines, and Spano each drove in one run as Samantha Thrush, Haggart, and Spano led the team with two walks each (10 overall).
Willetton Wildcats 13, Balcatta Bears 7
Willetton Wildcats scored nine runs in the first inning, which helped them defeat Balcatta Bears 13-7 on Sunday at Richard Guelfi Reserve. Scott Drew, Justin Pascoe, David Wright, and Brendan Clark hit RBI singles before Geoff Otterman doubled, scoring three runs, an error scored one run, and Sean Wright singled, scoring one run.
Willetton added one run in the second. Wright lined out, making the score 10-1. Drew was struck by a pitch, Pascoe singled down the left field line, and Amy Russell singled to center field, each scoring one run in the third.
Clark started on the bump for Willetton, allowing four hits and three runs (one earned) over two innings, striking out one and walking none. Glen Tovey pitched three innings in relief. He surrendered six hits and four runs (three earned) while striking out three and walking two.
Dan Bailey led things off on the mound for Balcatta. The pitcher surrendered seven hits and nine runs (two earned) over one inning, striking out none and walking two.
Willetton accumulated 12 hits in the game. Otterman led with three runs batted in as the infielder went 2-for-4 on the day. Pascoe went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the side in hits.
Balcatta tallied 10 hits in the game. Fraser Clarke and Michael Callen each collected two hits, while Elliot Bruse and Callen each drove in two runs. Bruse stole two bases as the defense turned one double play in the game.
Braves 12, Carine Cats Blue 3
Andrew Reid drove in five runs on three hits to lead Braves past Carine Cats Blue 12-3 on Sunday at Millington Oval D4. Reid singled in the second scoring one, hit a home run to right field in the third scoring three, and singled again in the fourth scoring one.
Braves opened scoring in the top of the second thanks to two singles, including Reid’s RBI base hit.
Braves scored six runs on five hits in the top of the third inning. Dan Plummer grounded out, scoring one run, Reid homered to right field, scoring three runs, and Dillon Best singled, scoring two runs.
Reid stepped on the bump first for Braves. The hurler surrendered one hit and one run (zero earned) over three innings, striking out two and walking one. Best appeared in relief.
Mitchell Fragall started the game for Carine Cats Blue. The pitcher surrendered nine hits and eight runs over three innings, striking out three and walking three.
Braves tallied 11 hits in the game. Rhys Anderson and Phil Hawke each collected multiple hits while Darryl Olsen stole two bases. They ran wild on the base paths, piling up five stolen bases for the game.
Nathan Magorian drove the middle of the lineup, leading Carine with two runs batted in. The shortstop went 1-for-3 on the day. Adam Melis set the tone at the top of the lineup, leading with two hits in three at-bats and two stolen bases.
Carine Cats Grey 7, Alkimos Titans 0
