The 2025-26 Qbit CBL N/S Division 1 season is nearing finals, with Braves, Balcatta, Carine Grey, and Alkimos taking out wins in Week 16.
The Titans got an exciting win on the board while Braves, Carine Grey, Roleystone, and Willetton hold onto top four spots.

Braves 8, Roleystone 2
Dillon Best collected three hits in three at-bats as Braves defeated Roleystone 8-2 on Sunday at Frankland Park D2. Best doubled in the first inning before hitting singles in the fourth and fifth.
Braves opened scoring in the bottom of the first thanks to three doubles. They added one in the third when Phil Hawke singled down the left field line, making the score 4-0.
Andrew Reid earned the win for Braves. The hurler allowed zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out one and walking none. Best and Billy Donovan each appeared in relief.
Josh Coe took the loss for Roleystone. The pitcher went four innings, giving up six runs (four earned) on nine hits, striking out six and walking three.
Braves piled up 11 hits in the game. Brett Edwards and Best each drove in two runs while Hawke and Donovan had multiple hits. Dan Plummer and Donovan each stole multiple bases with seven total in the game. The defense turned one double play.
Andrew Isles led Roleystone with one run batted in as the catcher went 1-for-2 on the day. Isles, Jesse Scidone, and Dwayne Pycroft each collected one hit.
Balcatta Bears 8, Willetton Wildcats 2
Reece Clarke collected three hits in three at-bats, as Balcatta Bears defeated Willetton Wildcats 8-2 on Sunday at Richard Guelfi Reserve. Clarke singled in the second, doubled in the fourth, and singled again in the sixth.
Balcatta jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Ashley Murchison doubled, scoring one run, Jan Wittnebel drew a walk, scoring one run, and Alan Burman singled, scoring two runs.
Dan Bailey led things off on the hill for Balcatta. The hurler gave up nine hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out three and walking one.
Michael Bellenger stepped on the mound first for Willetton. The hurler surrendered 10 hits and eight runs (seven earned) over six innings, striking out none and walking three.
Balcatta tallied 10 hits in the game. Murchison collected two hits in three at-bats while Dylan Coyle had three of the team’s four stolen bases. The defense turned one double play.
Willetton tallied nine hits in the game with two apiece for Justin Pascoe and Kaylan Grigg. Scott Drew and Grigg were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in one run.
Carine Cats Grey 13, Wanneroo Giants 6
Carine Cats Grey won big over Wanneroo Giants 13-6 on Sunday at Mateljan Oval D4.
Wanneroo got on board in the bottom of the first inning after Sam Zurzolo singled, scoring one run, and Nathan Jarvis homered to center field, scoring two runs.
In the top of the third inning, Carine went back into the lead after Brett Plummer doubled to center field, and Matt Lawrence singled to center field, each scoring two runs.
Cats scored five runs on four hits in the top of the fourth. Mark Summers singled, scoring one run, before Jarrod Ross and Justin Hayto hit back-to-back two-run homers to center field. They added another run in the fifth on a solo home run to left field by Gabe Thomas on an 0-2 count.
Hayto led things off on the mound for Carine. The starting pitcher surrendered four hits and three runs over four innings, striking out four and walking four. Plummer appeared in relief.
Grace Spano led things off on the hill for Wanneroo. The pitcher surrendered seven hits and 10 runs over three and one-third innings, striking out two and walking four.
Carine totaled 10 hits in the game. Plummer provided pop in the middle of the lineup, leading with four runs batted in as the third baseman went 2-for-4 on the day. Plummer, Ross, and Lawrence each collected two hits. Paul Flanagan and Lawrence stole multiple bases with five total in the game.
Wanneroo tallied nine hits in the game. Jarvis drove the middle of the lineup, leading with two runs batted in as the center fielder went 2-for-3 on the day. Zurzolo went 3-for-4 at the plate and had two of the team’s five stolen bases.
Alkimos Titans 10, Carine Cats Blue 9
It came down to the wire on Sunday at Halesworth Park D2, as Alkimos Titans grabbed a 10-9 victory in walk-off fashion over Carine Cats Blue. The game was tied at nine in the bottom of the fourth when Craig Rowland was struck by a pitch, driving in a run.
Alkimos had three hits and Carine had 10 in the high-scoring game. An error put Cats on board in the top of the first, before Dylahn Lawrence singled down the left field line, helping Alkimos tie the game at one in the bottom frame.
A groundout by Connor Stanton gave Titans a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the second. Tyson Feist singled down the left field line as Carine tied it at two in the top of the third.
Alkimos captured the lead, 6-2, in the bottom of the third when Xavier Longley drew a walk, scoring one run, Clinton Du Preez singled, scoring two runs, and Ethan Meyer drew another bases-loaded walk.
Carine flipped the game on its head in the top of the fourth, scoring seven runs on six hits to take the lead, 9-6. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Brian Maloney that drove in two.
Titans captured the lead, 10-9, in the bottom of the fourth after Lawrence, Longley, and Du Preez walked, and Rowland was struck by a pitch, each scoring one run.
Stanton earned the win for Alkimos. The starter allowed 10 hits and nine runs (one earned) over four innings, striking out two and walking none.
Mitchell Fragall took the loss for Carine Blue. The pitcher went one-third of an inning, surrendering four runs on zero hits, striking out one and walking six. Starter Simon Macneall gave up three hits and six runs (five earned) over two and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking seven.
Du Preez led Alkimos with two runs batted in from the number eight spot in the lineup. The third baseman went 2-for-2 on the day. Titans had a strong eye at the plate, amassing 13 walks for the game. Duvan Meyer, Ben Dandie, Longley, and Stanton led the team with two free passes each. Lawrence, Rowan Facey, Dandie, and Longley also stole multiple bases with 11 total in the game.
Carine piled up 10 hits with two apiece for Feist, Shaun Baker, and Maloney. Feist and Maloney each drove in two runs while Adam Melis had two of the team’s four stolen bases.
