In the bottom of the second, SL – Southern Hills Warriors (B) broke up the tie when Raymond singled, scoring two runs. Then a ground out by Takuta followed to extend the lead to 5-2. SL – Southern Hills Warriors (B) added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Dipane doubled down the left field line, and SL – Southern Titans (B)committed an error, each scoring one run. Ridley pitched three innings in relief for SL – Southern Hills Warriors (B). The pitcher surrendered one hit and one run (zero earned) while, striking out five and walking two. The game was tied at four in the bottom of the seventh when Samukawa doubled, scoring one run. SL – Central Firebirds (B) were the first to get on the board in the second when Wingate drew a walk, scoring one run. Scott doubled to right field following a 6-pitch at-bat, which helped SL – Carine Cats (A) tie the game at one in the bottom of the third. SL – Carine Cats (A) took the lead in the bottom of the fifth. David-Moss doubled, scoring one run, to give SL – Carine Cats (A) the leg up, 2-1. In the top of the seventh inning, SL – Central Firebirds (B) went back into the lead after Clark doubled down the left field line, Puna grounded out, and Moffat singled down the left field line, each scoring one run. In the bottom of the seventh inning, SL – Carine Cats (A) went back into the lead after White grounded into a fielder’s choice, and Samukawa doubled down the right field line, each scoring one run. The pitcher surrendered four hits and one run over six innings, striking out nine and walking three. Hennessystarted on the bump for SL – Eastern Phantoms (A). The righty surrendered three hits and one run over three innings, striking out three and walking two. Woods and Trousselot each collected two hits for SL – Western Tigers (B). Fraser, Oliver, and Kolk each drove in one run for SL – Western Tigers (B). SL – Western Tigers (B) had patience at the plate, collecting nine walks for the game.
