Baseball WA is pleased announce a new Coaching Mentor Program, launching Monday 29 September.
To start, mentor sessions will take place on Teams every two weeks with a guest speaker once a month, ensuring coaches statewide can take part in this opportunity. There will be a rotation of speakers with knowledge in all areas of the game, including tee-ball, baseball and women’s sport.
This program will be open to all coaches who have completed the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme Level A. Eligible coaches will receive a direct invite to be involved.
“We are excited to offer this program to support active coaches, helping them navigate issues as they arise, while setting goals and developing training plans using the Baseball Australia Coaching App,” BWA Participation Manager David Hayes said.
“By sharing success stories and making sure all coaches feel confident in their knowledge of the rules, we can strengthen coach development and ensure better engagement with players. We believe this additional support will make a positive difference to the coaches who play such a key role in our great game.”
