Braves have done it again! They are back-to-back champions in Harcher State League after a 5-0 win over Wanneroo at Empire Ballpark on Friday night.
Braves backed up their 12-2 Game 1 victory with a strong shutout performance to seal the deal. Congratulations Braves and well done to Wanneroo on a fantastic season!

Braves 5, Wanneroo Giants 0
Braves defeated Wanneroo Giants 5-0 on Friday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Matt Kennelly and Daniel Schmidt each pitched for Braves, with Schmidt inducing a groundout from Courtney Jones to get the last out of the game.
Braves got on board in the bottom of the second when Joel Beches singled, scoring one run.
Kennelly earned the win for Braves. The starting pitcher surrendered five hits and zero runs over eight innings, striking out eight and walking two.
Tom Bailey took the loss for Wanneroo. The righty went six and two-thirds innings, giving up three runs (zero earned) on four hits, striking out four and walking three. Schmidt collected the save.
Beches led Braves with three runs batted in on a 2-for-5 day. They were sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Kevin Clark had the most chances with 10.
Leadoff hitter Nicholas Riley led Wanneroo with two hits in four at-bats.
