Baseball WA and TBAWA are excited to introduce an annual tee-ball event as part of the Little League State Championships held across the Easter long weekend, starting in 2024.
We are inviting a team from each of the chartered regions to enter an Under 10 team into the four-day event for the new tee-ball division consistent with the Little League charter model.
“Thank you to TBAWA for the collaborative support as we launch this exciting new event. With two games per day, the potential to play games under lights and livestreaming of finals, it promises to be a fantastic experience for all players and coaches involved,” BWA Participation Manager David Hayes said. “We hope to see a good turnout of charter team nominations to ensure a fun competition where players can further develop their confidence and skills on the field.”
Tee-ball clubs have been allocated to charters based on location and natural pathways, which you can view HERE.
All rules associated with the Under 10 division of the TBAWA State Championship shall apply.
Selection and organisation of teams can be done either by the existing charter committee or a working group of the tee-ball club committees (or a combination of both).
Players will be charged a small tournament entry fee TBD which will include a team playing shirt and cap.
Team nominations are required by 28 February 2024.
