Perth Heat is Western Australia’s professional baseball team, competing in the Australian Baseball League. The season runs over the Australian summer against teams from across the country, competing for the Claxton Shield.
It is part of the talent and elite pathway, as an invite-only squad that includes the most talented local players, national team players, professional players and imports.
The Heat play and train out of Empire Ballpark and have an affiliate with Diamond Fitness, which looks after the strength and conditioning component to provide an all-year-round service.
Perth Heat have an on-field spring training component as well as the ability to be involved in the high performance off-season training program for local athletes.
