Southern Hills Warriors cruised to a 10-0 win over Swan Hills Aces at Mateljan Park. They got rolling in the second inning, taking advantage of an error and a double from Jayden D. Braxton N and Zack B kept the scoreboard ticking with key hits, while Kobi T dominated on the mound, giving up just one hit over four innings with seven strikeouts. Jessee C led with two hits, while the Warriors stayed perfect in the field with no errors. Elliot M recorded the sole hit for the Aces.
Game 2: Sun City Thunder hang on against Southern Hills Warriors
Sun City Thunder built a five-run lead early, then survived a strong fightback to beat Southern Hills Warriors 9-7. Errors and a daring steal of home helped Thunder jump ahead before Hunter B and Ichitaro D added crucial hits late. Benjamin H threw two hitless innings to open for Thunder. William C, Jayden D and Nate L led the Warriors’ comeback charge, but it wasn’t enough. Tyler D and his teammates kept aggressive on the bases, stealing six bags in total.
Game 3: Wanneroo Giants and Coastal Bay Sharks finish in a draw
Wanneroo Giants and Coastal Bay Sharks battled to a 3-3 draw at Mateljan Park. Coastal Bay started fast with three early runs from hits by Heather F, Harlem T and Ledger R. Wanneroo fought back with a clutch single from Kaiden K. Tyler N pitched solidly across four and two-thirds innings, and Xavier K led the Giants with two hits. Ledger R starred for Coastal Bay Sharks with two hits and Kade W swiped two bases. Neither side could break the deadlock.
Game 4: Carine Cats edge Central Firebirds
Carine Cats snatched a 4-3 win over Central Firebirds in a tight contest at Mateljan Park. Central jumped ahead early through Xavier S and Beau P, but Carine hit back with a Harrison S double and a Martin B groundout. Levi M kept Carine in the game with four strong innings and eight strikeouts. Jasper R led with two hits. For the Firebirds, Beau P drove in a run while Beau and Bondi A managed one hit apiece.
Game 5: Eastern Phantoms walk it off against Southern Titans
Eastern Phantoms claimed a thrilling 1-0 walk-off win over Southern Titans at Mateljan Park. Judd M drove in the winning run in the bottom of the sixth after a tight pitching duel. Bremer R was outstanding, striking out 10 in relief without conceding a hit. Lachlan K also held strong across two and a third innings. Sonny R, Harrison M and Nicholas R picked up hits for the Phantoms. Jacob G and Archie G had hits for Southern Titans, who fought hard but came up short.
