Baseball WA is excited to announce the State League Strike Zone Podcast for the 2024/25 season, kicking off with two gala weekends on 4-6 and 11-13 October.
The State League Strike Zone is the show for all Baseball WA Fans. It’s the show that puts you in the zone for all the best action from the State Baseball League, with discussions from all five games of each round and guest players and coaches of the 11 teams.
Paul Persic is the Captain of the Strike Zone team, passionate about all things State League Baseball and like his colleague is not afraid to tell it like it is when covering the big games.
“We are very excited to bring the Strike Zone Podcast to the fans of Baseball in WA this coming season,” Persic said. “It’s a great platform that provides valuable support to a great competition, its players, coaches and volunteers of all 11 clubs. Let’s play ball in season 2024/25!”
He will be joined by co-host Paul Morgan, a genuine baseball all-rounder, having covered baseball for years at the State League and ABL level.
“We are excited to take our baseball coverage to new heights with the State League Strike Zone Podcast, and we can’t wait for the upcoming season,” Baseball WA CEO Lachlan Dale said. “Paul Persic and Paul Morgan bring great value with their colourful commentary, expert analysis and genuine love of all things baseball in the West.”
The podcast is set to launch on 4 September 2024 with a preview of the upcoming season and run through March to cover grand finals.
Strike Zone will also include State League MVP votes, Plays of the Week, and Around The State League fan Q&A.
There are four tiers of sponsorship available for local businesses interested in supporting the podcast, which you can learn more about HERE.
